(Question for Jewish People) In Judaism, do the Rabbis refer to יַם-סוּף as Red Sea or Reed Sea?

That seems to be the problem with History that languages change with there meanings. I recall watching a show on the red sea and they had some divers i believe or they just lowered the cameras,but any way in a part they were sure Moses crossed the red sea they showed remains of a Chariot wheel. The ones doing the show said it was definitely a Egyptian design of that period.
