Any advice for a new vegetarian?
I have only been a vegetarian for a little over 24 hours. But I am taking this seriously. Im a vegetarian for my health and I feel bad for animals. I do still have major cravings for things like bacon and pork chops! But Im determined do this! One of the hardest things is that meat is every where. At the mall there are little restaurants in there and Theres a place that has hot dogs that I used to love! And its not like the food court which I can afford its in the mall right next to the stores. And when I go out Im always going to have to get a garden salad. I don't know many places with vegetarian options other than crispers. And Id like variety. Also I feel like I'll starve because there aren't many foods with out meat. So far since I've started which was yesterday I have eaten greens, yams, yellow rice, oranges, grilled cheese, mangos, and watermelon. What other foods should I be eating for good nutrients? What are some good foods. Also why'd you become vegetarian and do you ever miss meat? Oh and Im 14 my parents still make meat for almost every meal so they kinda make it harder and they know but they aren't going to stop
